Mended Heart Earrings Copper Valentines Day

We've all had our heart broken at some time in our lives. When you love, you get hurt sometimes. But with time and effort, we stitch our broken heart together and try again. These earrings speak to those brave ones among us who are growing whole, day by day. 

Both the stitched copper hearts and the lampwork glass are handmade by metal and glass artisans. The green and cream lampwork glass bead is dotted with fine silver. I wired them together and topped then with a faceted, purple Czech glass bead. The earrings hang from copper plated, nickle-frer earwires.
