Sunburst Earrings Yellow Turquoise Wirework

The pattern on these vibrant yellow beads makes me think of sunbursts. I paired them with dark turquoise colored glass beads. Twisted and hammered copper wire forms a decorative element at the bottom of the earrings.  The sunburst earrings hang from hypoallergenic niobium ear wires and measure just under 2 inches long. 

 These earrings are part of my Colors of Mexico collection. Mexico has a special place in my heart and over time we have spent many months there. The brilliant, saturated colors in Mexico, and the high contrast color pairings are infinitely inspiring to me. The last photo, from Coyoacán, show some inspiration for these earrings. Enjoy!
