Handmade Glass Pendant Red White Necklace

The red and white dotted bead that is at the center of this necklace was handmade by a glass artist. Molten glass was wound around a mandrel and the colors were carefully built up in layers. I was attracted the clean modern lines of the design. But then to mix things up a bit, I hung a textured, vintage German glass bead beneath the artisan bead. I think these two are a perfect match. I then created a chain of red crystal beads and finished the back of the necklace with gold-tone chain and a lobster claw style clasp. The necklace measures 21.5 inches long and looks stunning!
