Purple Yellow Fan Shaped Earrings

Combine artisan-made glass beads from Philadelphia, translucent cube beads from Mexico City and diamond shaped Czech glass and you've got a winning international combo. A glass artist friend of mine made the beautiful magenta beads on the top of these earrings. A lacey gold bead cap accents these handmade beads.  Beneath them, I placed transparent yellow glass beads that I got in a fantastic bead store in the heart of Mexico City. Yellow and purple are opposite each other on the color wheel, making them a dynamic color combo. The grooved, purple diamond shapes, make a great contrast to the cubes and rounds above them. These earrings are eye-catching and fun to wear.
