Fall Pumpkin Necklace Handmade Halloween Ceramic On Silk Cord

Welcome fall, harvest season and Halloween with this handmade puumpkin necklace. Working in my clay studio, I created the mold for this pendant. I pressed the clay into the mold, gave it some finishing touches and then fired it. Next I glazed it in bright pumpkin orange with a little green leaf and tendril, with a black background. After it was fired a second time, I designed a necklace for the pendant. A handmade textile bead and glowing orange glass bead sit atop the ceramic pendant. This trio is strung on a black silk cord, which finishes with a loop and lobster claw clasp.
