Skull Earrings Day Of The Dead Jewelry Yellow Orange and Turquoise Statement Earrings

Only 1 left in stock

The Day Of The Dead is celebrated in Mexico on Nov. 1st and 2nd. You can mark the day too, with these whimsical skull earrings. I was lucky enough to celebrate the Day Of The Dead in Oaxaca Mexico, a few years ago. Bright colored altars, decorated with flowers, food and skulls were constructed all over the city.  The celebrations are both solemn and whimsical. I chose the bright colors of these earrings to represent the colorful decorations that flourished throughout the city at this time.  The flowers above the skulls (known as Calaveras) represent the flowers on the altars that welcome home the spirits of the departed.  Little black metal and turquoise glass beads dangle beneath the skulls, adding some movement. The Calavera Earrings add a fun accent for Halloween and all year round. See last photo for the size of the earrings.

Details for the Calavera Earrings:

  • Premium Czech glass skull and flower beads
  • Glass and metal beads
  • Antiqued brass ear wires
  • One of a kind, artisan earrings
