Bold Red And Black Necklace With Tassel Handmade

This bold, red and black bead necklace will make you stand out in a crowd. Not one to be the wallflower, this color combination makes your heart beat a little faster.

The red and black patterned pendant bead was made in Nairobi, Kenya at the Kazuri company. Kazuri, which means "small and beautiful " in Swahili, provides living wage employment for impoverished, mostly single mothers. Kazuri is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization and their ceramic beads are valued in the bead community.

A textured, copper ring hangs beliw the Kazuri bead with a faceted, black and red bead dangling under it.

Wonderful red, oval beads, with a black sunburst pattern are hand knotted onto the black cord necklace. Dark red, faceted beads are knotted on either side of the sunburst beads. This one of a kind necklace simply slips over your head. No need for a clasp. 27 inches (68.5 cm) long, with an additional 3.5 inch (9 cm) pendant.
